We do not officially support him but a little prayer never hurt anybody, right? Ruth
Info from Ben Bacheller:

We wanted to let you know about something our Home Church (Saint Andrews Evangelical Church) is doing here in Columbia, SC. Our pastor has been led to initiate a specific time of 40 days of prayer and fasting among our congregation to ask specifically that our Father provide the necessary financial and prayer support we (and one other couple in our church) need to get to the mission field. People at our church sign up for a time slot in which they commit to praying for our support, whether in the middle of the day or the night, it’s up to them. This is very encouraging to us as our pastor has initiated this, not us. We are humbled by our church’s desire to see us get to the mission field. What a blessing to be loved and prayed for in such a way!

It has been difficult at times to trust, and wait on the Lord for His timing in getting us to Brazil… yet we know that the Lord is using this time to develop conviction and perseverance in our lives so that when we get to the mission field we will be well prepared for the challenges we will face at that time. Our son, Caleb, reminds us of how we are to trust our Father…look at the picture Becky took the other week when we were at a waterfall in Tennessee…the picture is attached to this email. We will continue trusting our Father, and asking him to fulfill His perfect timing for us and the ministry in Brazil. Nothing is too difficult for the Lord (Jeremiah 32:17, 27).

So, would you consider joining our local church as the Body of Christ in the U.S.A. and around the world, in asking Him, the Provider, to complete this task of sending us to Brazil?

Thank you for your prayers and partnership!
